Jan Juc Studio paints a portrait of a deceptively simple, silver building on Victoria’s Surf Coast, home to Eldridge Anderson Architects director Jeremy Anderson.

After many visits to Jan Juc Studio, photographer Ben Hosking has returned to document the house on black and white film. The images capture moments of quiet reflection, revealing the subtle interplay between light and shadow within the home. They are pared with an analysis by writer Lucia Amies that aims to unravel the building’s inherent complexities. Edited by Rose Onans and produced by Mess Books, Jan Juc Studio is a homage to the studio’s considered approach to architecture.

The launch will celebrate this collaboration of architect, photographer and writer with a conversation between the contributors. Join Jeremy, Ben, Lucia and Rose to celebrate this first publication from Eldridge Anderson Architects.
