Collection: Recommended reads for architecture students
We're often asked for one good book to introduce students to architecture. The truth is that while there are many books that present themselves as 'an introduction to architecture', there aren't any that we think cover everything it might be useful to know.
There are, though, many books we often find ourselves recommending that introduce particular aspects of the discipline well, or that have proven especially influential for architectural culture and practice, internationally and here in Australia. They cover topics from sketch drawing to how to transition into the workplace.
Below you can find our non-definitive, recommended reading list for those making a start in the discipline (or even just those who might be architecture curious).
