About the Author
Hannes Frykholm holds an MSc in Architecture from both UC Berkeley and LTH, and is a lecturer at the University of Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning. Between 2021 and 2024 he served as postdoctoral researcher on “Living in the City,” a project co-chaired by Anne Lacaton and Jean-Philippe Vassal. His research focuses on the interior urbanism of housing architecture, investigating how access to free space in residential buildings can respond to the pressures of high-density cities.
