RMIT Design Archives Journal, Vol. 12, No. 1, 2022: Women, Writing, Design celebrates the contribution of Professor Emerita Harriet Edquist, RMIT University, to architectural and design history, archives, criticism, and exhibitions.
The theme for this issue sprang from a workshop 'Looking inside Design' at The University of Melbourne in 2021. The aim of the workshop was to prepare for a special issue of Fabrications 32:1, edited by Professor Philip Goad and Catherine Townsend. This issue of Fabrications will be a Festschrift for Harriet Edquist and will explore the nexus between architecture, design, exhibitions and curating.

- Hannah Lewi who explores the ways archives can fuel the imagination, and be a site for experimentation and speculative thinking.
- Laurene Vaughan who reflects on her collaborative work with Edquist between 2007 and 2011, and the crafting of place and the making of landscapes of home.
